Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets

Carlos Beltran might have a career in restaurants after baseball. The Puerto Rican-born Mets slugger had so many meals with his family at Sofrito on East 57th Street, he approached owner J.R. Morales. Beltran, 33, is now a partner and his name is on the liquor license. A party with Beltran’s teammates is planned for mid-September to celebrate his new role. He plans to tweak the Puerto Rican menu with his mother’s favorite recipes.
