“The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is a New York tradition that celebrates the contributions of the Puerto Rican people to the history of New York City and the United States.
The National Puerto Rican Day Parade started in 1995; which continued the traditionof the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City which began in 1958. The parade features floats, singing, dancing and marching. Last year there were over 100 thousand marchers and 3 million spectators along the parade route.
